Select Document(s)
Within BMI Web, check box the document(s) you wish to open. To open, click the green “View” button located at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
Edit Pages
To edit pages, click on the hamburger drop-down menu. It is located in the upper right-hand corner. Select “Edit Pages”.
Edit Pages Box
Once you select “Edit Pages” the Edit Pages box appears. Here you will find 4 options. The options are: “Insert”, “Replace”, “Delete”, and “Exit”.
Edit Pages- Insert
The “Insert” option allows for separate files to be inserted into the current document. To insert, click the green “Insert” button. Another box will appear such as the one pictured above. Within this new box, you may upload files to become part of the existing document.
Upload Files
Next, select files you would like to upload. Note that you must choose to either upload files before or after the currently opened document. In this example, I wish to add the file “DemoDoc6.pdf” before the opened document. To do this, I will click the blue “Insert Before” button.
File Inserted
The new file will be inserted upon clicking either “Insert Before” or “Insert After”. A green message prompt will appear (at the bottom right hand corner) stating: “Success! The file has been inserted”. Note that inserting files, using this method, will not create separate documents. Files inserted will be stored as the original document.
Edit Pages- Replace
The next option available, in the “Edit Pages” box, is Replace. Click the green “Replace” button to choose a new file to replace the currently selected page.
Upload Files
Once the green “Replace” button has been clicked, another box will appear (such as the one pictured above). Choose a file to be uploaded. Click the blue “Replace” button to replace the selected page with the newly uploaded file.
File Replaced
The new file will replace the old page. A green message prompt will appear (at the bottom right hand corner) stating: “Success! The file has been replaced”. Note that replacing files will not create separate documents. Instead, the old page will disappear and the new file will take its place.
Edit Pages- Delete
The last option available, within the “Edit Pages” box, is Delete. Click the green “Delete” button to delete the current page or a range of pages within the document.
